Monumental is D.C.
They own all of the sports teams except the Commanders. They are very intertwined with the culture of Washington D.C. Our Manifesto directly speaks to the emotion and voice of that local culture. It’s very hard for a logo mark and identity to put forward complex emotion and that was the point of building on the mark. We stressed that all touchpoints should be coupled with emotion, attitude, and a bravado that is truly D.C. sports culture.
