Chris Paul was traded to the Rockets in 2017.

He had been in Los Angeles and  with him moving he had to find a new State Farm agent in Houston. That was our storyline slash journey for the 2018 season's campaign. Many TV scripts as well as online social videos and activations came out of this new relationship. As an example we auctioned off on ebay stuff from Chris's garage in his moving sale. (The money went to charity btw.)

RESULTS: This campaign had the highest recall and likability for State Farm while it aired.

The 2016 campaign had to work in the same format as everything else on the brand. We were stuck in a box of sorts but sometimes that produces the best creative.
